Independent Authors Need Your Help!

Let's discuss why it's so important that you share Indie books with the world!

Many people still believe that if a book isn’t traditionally published, it isn’t worth reading. Independent authors often have to work twice as hard to overcome that assumption, because we don’t have the name of a major publishing house behind the book telling readers, Trust us, this one is worth your time.

What many readers may not realize is just how much goes into independently publishing a novel. Indie authors are responsible for the entire process, including writing, editing, cover artwork and design, formatting, publishing, marketing, advertising, and distribution. Every decision is ours, but so is every expense.

For me, that trade-off is worth it because it allows me to retain ownership and creative control over Pierce Rockwell and the world I’ve built around him. Traditional publishing can involve granting a publisher significant rights and creative influence over how a book is edited, packaged, marketed, and ultimately brought to readers. Independent publishing allows me to protect the characters, storylines, and larger vision I have for this series while building it on my own terms.

But there is one thing an independent author cannot simply purchase: genuine word of mouth.

That comes from readers.

So, if you’ve read OMEGA and enjoyed Pierce and Blair’s story, one of the greatest things you can do for me as an independent author is talk about it. Recommend it to a friend. Share it on social media. Leave a review. Tell another romance reader why you loved it. Those seemingly small things can make an enormous difference in helping an independently published book find its next reader.

Every time someone says, “You have to read this book,” you’re helping this series grow.

And as I prepare Book Two for publication, knowing there are readers waiting to find out what happens next to Pierce and Blair makes every hour, every edit, and every investment in this series worth it.
